Jack, 32, opened up about his father's struggles with reality television on People TV's Chatter.
He said shooting for the show was a traumatic experience for Osbourne, 69, as "hated the way he was portrayed".
"After 'The Osbournes', he just hated reality TV. He hated the experience, he hated the way he was portrayed. He was like, It's not what I do. I'm a musician'," Jack said.
The show ran from 2002 to 2005.
Besides Osbourne, his eldest daughter, Aimee refused to be on the show and moved out when she was just 16.
