A meeting of District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DDCMC) was held here at the district headquarters under chairmanship of Member of Parliament (MP) of the region, Chandulal Sahu.

Sahu reviewed the implementation and progress of various ongoing Government schemes of the district and issued necessary directives to the officials.

In the meeting, the MP directed the concerned officials to effectively implement ‘Noni-Suraksha’ scheme so that more and more girl children could be benefitted with the scheme.

He also stressed on creating awareness for tackling the malnutrition problem and for conducting programmes for the same.

Keeping in view the upcoming Kharif season , the MP also directed the officials of Agriculture Department regarding availability of seeds and fertilizers distribution to the farmers of the district.

The MP also reviewed the status of Supebeda region where a number of people are affected by kidney ailments and directed for making necessary arrangements for supplying them safe drinking water.

He also took information about health condition of the affected.

MLA Santosh Upadhyay, District Collector Shyam Dhawade and Chief Executive Officer, Zila Panchayat, Vinit Nandanwar were also present in the meeting.
