Class I RTE admission date extended to June 30

Online applications for admission to Class I of private schools have been invited till June 30 under the Right to Education Act in the state. Earlier, this date was fixed on June 23. So far, more than 2.45 lakh applications have been received in the state.

Due to the server being down during this period, the School Education Department has increased the last date to June 30 for the convenience of applicants.

Parents, who wish to get their children admitted in Class I of private schools, can submit their applications online till June 30.

The format of the online application form has been made available on RTE portal www.educationportal.mp.gov.in/RtePortal.

Along with this application forms are being made available free-of-cost from concerned Jan-Shiksha Kendra, BRC/BEO office, District Education Officer and District Education Centre office.

It will be mandatory to upload any document related to eligibility along with the application form.

The copy generated from the portal will be retained by the applicant.

In case of any problem or difficulty in applying online, assistance can be taken from the help desk of BRD office in the concerned development block.

Only the applications registered and locked on the portal will be included in the lottery process.

The students will be allotted seats as per their choice in private schools in a transparent manner on July 5. After the lottery procedure, the information of allotted seat will be given to the applicant via SMS on his registered mobile number.

The list of allocation will also be available on the education portal.

If there is a problem in receiving or depositing application forms or any information is needed about the schools where seats are vacant, then the RTE portal, District Education Office, District Project Office of Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan or Development Block Resource Center can be contacted.
