MANGALURU: Dharmasthala’s Shantivana is creating more hostile environment for the coalition government than tranquility, with one more video of former chief minister
Siddaramaiah expressing displeasure over coalition government surfacing on Tuesday on a news channel.
In the video footage, Siddaramaiah is heard talking to an anonymous person on JD(S)-Congress coalition government. Siddaramaiah expresses apprehension over the coalition government, which, he sees no possibility of completing the full term of five years. He also tells the other person to wait till the next Lok Sabha election.
"Let us see what happens after the Parliament election,” says Siddaramaiah in a video purportedly shot at Shanthivana - SDM College of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences in Dharmasthala where he is undergoing nature therapy.
It may be recalled that a video of Siddaramaiah discussing politics and expressing objections to chief minister HD Kumaraswamy’s plans of presenting a fresh Budget had also gone viral few days ago.
In the video released on Tuesday, Siddaramaiah in his usual tone and mannerism expresses doubts over JD(S)-Congress government completing five years term when the other person asks about the future of the coalition.
“What? Five years?... Let us see what happens after the Parliament election. They will continue till the Parliament election. Will have to see what developments take place after that,” Siddaramaiah replies to the person.
Later, when the anonymous person asks about the future of Prime Minister Narendra modi, Siddaramaiah says ,”Modi will not win again. If all opposition parties unite, then Modi may not win whatever effort he puts.”
Reacting to the latest video of Siddaramaiah, MLC Ivan D’Souza said, “I don’t know in what context Siddaramaiah has made that statement. Our party’s decision is that the coalition government should complete five years.”
