What started out as a mid-air conversation five years ago is now culminating into a wedding for "Masaan" and "Haraamkhor" actress Shweta Tripathi and actor-rapper Chaitanya Sharma aka SlowCheeta on June 29.
SlowCheeta, as he prefers to be called, is five years younger to Shweta, but the actress quips she looks younger at 32. The duo shared pictures of their pre-wedding ceremonies and all we can say is, they are adorable. Shweta shared a number of pictures from her Bachelorette celebration in her Instagram story. As the wedding is just around the corner, the bride to be, Shweta Tripathi enjoys her bachelorette which gets crashed by her fiance. The rapper Chaitanya Sharma took to his Instagram to share a picture from the bachelorette party that happened over the weekend and wrote, "This cutie is proof that someone up there loves me a lot. Can't believe I'm getting to marry this ball of happiness! Mr. and Mrs. Sharma- Coming soon."
Fans of both the celebrities started pouring in love and wishes for the happy couple. Shweta has earlier revealed that Chaitanya proposed to her on a stage. "He proposed at a place called Cuckoo Club, which is a performing place in Mumbai. He wanted to do it on stage because that's how we met -- for a play. He had told me he has a new play, so I went to see that... But it was the proposal," she told IANS.
The duo’s social media is also filled with gorgeous pictures from their mehendi ceremony. While Shweta flaunts a custom made mid-length lehenga by Colors and Mirrors, groom to be Chaitanya opted to wear a white kurta-pyjama complimenting it with a multi-coloured heavily embroidered half jacket.
SlowCheeta, who has a tattoo of Shweta's name and stands tall at 6 ft, delivered a monologue in front of a full audience about the journey that has led to the new journey they are ready to take.
The wedding will take place in Goa with "closest" family and friends in attendance.
According to a report in Mid-Day, the talented rapper is preparing a song for her lady love Shweta Tripathi. It will be composed by Vivek Sagar and SlowCheeta will rap in it.
