Telengana heading for early Assembly polls

Telangana seems to be heading for an early Assembly elections if one goes by the ample hints the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao dropped at an important political event in Hyderabad.

While elections are due by June next year, the reliable sources in the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti says that the Chief Minister KCR was in favour of elections by December or January. Party leaders say that KCR was actively thinking on these lines since he met the Prime Minister Narendar Modi in New Delhi about ten days ago. He made his views public at a program organized to welcome a senior Congress leader and former Minister Danam Nagendar in the TRS fold. Declaring that the TRS was ready for an early elections, KCR challenged the Congress and other Opposition parties to clarify whether they were ready or not.
