APPSC ready to conduct DSC exam
APPSC has conducted recruitment examination for the assistant professor posts for all 64 specialisations and we are going to release the final key of the test in the first week of July.

VISAKHAPATNAM: APPSC chairman Prof P Uday Bhaskar has said that they are ready to conduct District Selection Committee (DSC) exam for the recruitment of teachers to the government schools as per the directives of the State government.
“But so far we have not received any instructions regarding the next DSC exam,” he added. Interacting with the media persons here on Monday, Uday Bhaskar said, “The APPSC has taken a decision to change the Group- II syllabus along with other notified examinations. Now the APPSC expert committee is studying the issue. We are expecting the committee report in July and the APPSC will take a decision on the new syllabus for Group-II.”
Annual recruitment calendar
“We came to know that there are several vacancies in various departments and requested the government to give permission to fill the vacancies. Soon after that, we will publish ‘State-level annual recruitment calendar’ for all the vacancies,” said Uday Bhaskar. “In the last two years, the APPSC conducted recruitment for about 4,300 posts in various departments through 34 notifications. Regarding the 95 ASO posts, recruitment test was conducted with a degree as the requisite qualification, but a controversy arose on the qualification, and soon after getting the clarification, we will complete the recruitment process,” he added.
Merit list of asst professors to be released soon
Similarly, the APPSC has conducted recruitment examination for the assistant professor posts for all 64 specialisations and we are going to release the final key of the test in the first week of July and the merit list would be sent to the universities.
