This summer's World Cup is in full flow as we wait to find out which teams will progress to the last 16.

If, like mine, your Telegraph Fantasy Football team has performed more like Panama than Brazil, or even worse, you forgot to pick a team before the start of the tournament, don't panic, we've dedicated a £5,000 first prize specifically to the team that scores the most points during the knockout stage, with a further £1,000 awarded to the runner-up.

In this short guide, we'll run you through everything you need to know about the Knockout Steage League - how to be eligibile for the prizes and what the rules are.

How to be eligible for more than £6,000 in cash

You can pick a team for free but you'll need to treat yourself to a Season Ticket to get more teams and be in with a chance of winning the £6,000 up for grabs in the Knockout Stage League. It couldn't be easier to upgrade and you can do so from just £4.99.

What are the rules of the Knockout Stage League?

All teams (either new or existing) owned by Season Ticket holders will be in the running to win the Knockout Stage League - whether selected at the start of the tournament or if chosen specifically for the separate knockout stage only competition.

Scoring will commence from the first knockout stage fixture on Saturday, June 30 (15:00) and continue through until the completion of the final on Sunday, July 15 (16:00). You will have 20 transfers to use during this stage.
