State Khadi Board members visit Gujarat

A delegation of members of Jharkhand State Khadi and Village Industries Board is on a study tour around Gujarat, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. The delegation includes the in charge of study tour, Kanwaljeet Singh, of Jharkhand Khadi Board along with Amarnath Chaudhary, Ratna Sinha and Bhishma Chaurasia.

The first place that the members visited was the Sabarmati Ashram, Gandhinagar where they got to know about Mahatma Gandhi’s life story and selflessness, truthful aspects of his nation. After this, a delegation of members of the Jharkhand State Khadi and Village Industries Board met the President of Gujarat State Khadi Board, Skhirshih Paderia and briefed him about the activities of the State Khadi.

The president was fully informed by Jharkhand Khadi and Village Industries Board about the lacquer, taser, terracotta, bee keeping etc. During this period, Chairman of Gujarat Khadi Board, Kushal Singh Padheria, interacted with the president of Jharkhand State Khadi and Village Industries Board, Sanjay Seth, via telephone.

Sanjay Seth invited Kushal Singh Padheria to participate in the proposed major Karmar Panchayat program on July 1, 2018 in Jharkhand Sports Village. This visit of the members of the Board is from June 23 to June 27.
