A47 traffic update: Bus and lorry in horror crash in Wisbech, up to 20 injured
A CRASH on the A47 in Wisbech, Cambridgeshire has injured up to 20 people after a lorry and a double-decker bus collided.

All emergency services are at the scene, including the air ambulance.
The East of England Ambulance Service said its paramedics were "caring for several seriously injured patients".
The police also described some of the injuries as "serious".

The road is closed between the B1167 New Cut and A141 March Road.
The charity, Magpas Air Ambulance, which provides care by land and air to patients in life threatening emergencies, tweeted: “Early this morning, our @Magpas_Charity enhanced doctor & paramedic team were called to a major incident on the A47 in the Wisbech area, involving an HGV & a bus. Approximately 15 people have been injured. All emergency services are on the scene. More info to come.”
Motorists have been told to avoid the area.
Cambridgeshire police said the road would be closed “for some time” between Guyhirn and Thorney Toll.

Officers are appealing for witnesses.
In a tweet, Cambridgeshire Police said: “We are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the A47 at 7.30am this morning. Officers remain at the scene and the road is closed with diversions in place. Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call 101. Motorists are advised to avoid the area or expect delays.”
The East of England Ambulance Service has dispatched seven ambulance crews, three ambulance officers, two rapid response vehicles and a Hazardous Area Response Team to the scene.
Sixteen injured have been taken to Peterborough City Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn, Norfolk.
The accident happened at about 7.30am.
