The North Canadian River near Seiling.
* until Tuesday morning...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:00 PM Monday the stage was 11.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring.
* Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
* Forecast...The North Canadian River is nearing crest and will fall
below flood stage early Tuesday morning.
* Impact...At 12.0 feet...Croplands...pastures...oil wells...and
rural roads are flooded. Areas affected extend from the southwest
corner of Major County...downstream to the headwaters of Canton
Lake in Dewey County. Cattle and other property should be relocated
to places which are at least 1 foot higher than nearby river
banks...to avoid being isolated for several hours by water in side
channels.

The Cimarron River near Dover.
* until Wednesday morning...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:30 PM Monday the stage was 18.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast...The Cimarron River will continue rising and crest near
18.1 feet early Tuesday morning. The Cimarron River will fall below
flood stage early Wednesday morning.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet...Rural lands and roads are covered by flood
depths averaging about a foot across Kingfisher County...and into
western Logan County. Oil wells in lower places near the river
channel are flooded or isolated. Livestock may become stranded by
deeper flows in cutoff channels crossing the flood plain. Sandpit
facilities near Dover could be flooded.

lands along the river. Some fields may be isolated by deep flows in
cutoff channels meandering across the flood plain. The river reach
affected extends from near Freedom upstream...to the U.S. Highway
281 crossing south of Little Sahara State Park near Waynoka...to
