Wimbledon 2018 schedule: When Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal will play at SW19
WIMBLEDON will see Roger Federer strive to win a remarkable ninth grass-court Grand Slam title with Rafael Nadal trying to beat him to the crown.

Federer arrives in southwest London having been beaten in the final of Halle by Croatia’s Borna Coric, a shock defeat that was his first on grass in more than a year.
But the defending champion was nevertheless confirmed as the top seed by Wimbledon authorities today, with Nadal starting at the very bottom of the draw as the No 2 seed.
The Spaniard has not played a competitive tournament on grass so far this season; he pulled out of a proposed appearance at Queen’s because of advice from his doctors to rest after his gruelling clay-court schedule.
Instead, Nadal will join the likes of Richard Gasquet and Grigor Dimitrov at the Hurlingham Club just days before Wimbledon to play exhibition matches against Lucas Pouille and Hyeon Chung.
The full draw will not be announced until Friday but thanks to the convention that the defending champion opens proceedings on the first day of Wimbledon, the appearances of men’s tennis’ two biggest stars can be predicted.
