Light rains bring down mercury in Delhi

Overcast skies and very light rains in some parts of the national capital offered relief to Delhiites as the maximum settled at 34.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.

The minimum was recorded at 30.7 degrees Celsius, three notches above the normal, said a Meteorological (MeT)

Areas under the received 0.5 mm rainfall till 8.30 AM after which "traces" of rainfall was recorded in the area till 5.30 PM.

Humidity oscillated between 62 and 52 er cent.

The has forecast overcast skies along with the likelihood of few spells of rains and thundershowers for tomorrow.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover at 32 and 26 degrees respectively.

Yesterday, the maximum was recorded at 42.7 degrees Celsius, while the minimum had settled at 32.6 degrees
