Of the many things that will bolster Destiny 2 in Forsaken, the upcoming expansion to Bungie's fizzy shared-world shooter, the boisterous Gambit mode might be one of the best.
Pitched as ‘competitive co-op’, Gambit is taking Destiny’s punchy PvE combat and pitting two teams of four against each other, but in different arenas, to see who can bump off the most bad guys.
There are more than a few twists along the way, of course, though the setup is simple. You and your crew are dropped into combat against the game’s AI, be it the stomping Legionnaires or pesky Hobgoblins, while the other team is dropped into the same scenario in a separate arena.
You must then take down as many enemies as you can...
