JOE GOMEZ has offered fans a glimpse of his recovery from ankle surgery.
Liverpool ace Gomez suffered an ankle injury while on England duty back in March.
And while he recovered enough to play a couple of games for Liverpool late in the season, he ended up needing surgery on his ankle after it didn’t heal properly.
After going under the knife in April, Gomez has now returned to the training field ahead of pre-season.
The 21-year-old uploaded a video to his Instagram showing him running comfortably.

He looked fit and fast as he sprinted on grass ready for full pre-season training which is due to begin next week.
Gomez’s return will be a huge boost for Jurgen Klopp ahead of the new season.
With defenders Dejan Lovren and Trent Alexander-Arnold competing at the World Cup, Klopp will need Gomez in the early pre-season fixtures.

And fans were delighted the see the youngster looking sharp.
“Great to see this man back!” one fan wrote on Twitter.
Another said: “Great talent he just needs to track his runners better and not switch off during games, but I'm sure that's an easy fix for Klopp.”
