J-K police arrests man wanted in death case from MP

The Police have arrested a man wanted in a death by negligence case from his hometown of in Madhya Pradesh, officials claimed today.

Vikram Parihar, a resident of Kalorh Kalah village of Dabra in district, was arrested by a special police team at his hometown and was brought here, a said.

He said the team of station personnel in district was constituted after specific information was received about his whereabouts.

The said Parihar is a wanted criminal and a case under various sections of Ranbir Penal Code including causing death by negligence stands registered against him since last year.

Meanwhile, an alleged narcotic smuggler was arrested in Jakhani village of district after 2.10 grams of heroin was recovered from his possession, the said.

The accused identified as Umar Jaan, a resident of housing colony Udhampur, and said a case under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act was registered against him.
