All Blacks/Black Ferns showcase diversity with Effort is Effort campaign

Players from the All Blacks and Black Ferns are championing diversity through a campaign run by the teams' biggest sponsor.

Black Ferns Fiao'o Faamausili and Selica Winiata and All Blacks captain Kieran Read and TJ Perenara are among those featuring in the first clip of the series.

The clip features about eight players from both national sides working in the gym, including deadlifting, pull-ups and Perenara on the rowing machine.

The global campaign, Effort is Effort, was launched on Monday and will be promoted by the two teams.

Effort Is Effort has been created to draw attention to equality, diversity and teamwork on and off the field.
