IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri Dasari will be transferred back to the post of Deputy Commissioner, Hassan district, the State government told the Karnataka High Court on Monday.
Following this submission made on behalf of the government, a Division Bench comprising Justice H.G. Ramesh and Justice Mohammad Nawaz quashed the order passed by the Central Administrative Tribunal, which had upheld the March order of then government transferring her from the post of DC, Hassan, within eight months of she assuming the post.
She had approached the High Court questioning the tribunal’s order while alleging that her transfer was premature as it was contrary to year tenure at cadre posts besides being a politically motivated action due to the influence of a local politician and the then district in-charge Minister.
