Preston Avenue between College Avenue and 14th Street will be closed for two weeks starting Monday for sewer work.

The road between College Avenue and 14th Street East will be shut down as crews tie into the sanitary and storm sewers under the roadway.

There will also be no access to sidewalks or bike paths for safety reasons as the project involves a deep pit excavation.
City officials said they picked this timeframe to carry out the work to minimize the impact on people.
The Saskatoon Field House will remain open during construction. Those wishing to access the facility during construction will have to use Stadium Crescent off College Drive.

Drivers are being advised to expect delays and should plan an alternative route.
Work should be completed in two weeks, weather permitting and barring unforeseen circumstances.
