The Cobra Academy self-defense course will be offered from 5:15 to 6:15 p.m. Mondays beginning July 23 at the Lauren Manufacturing Training Room, 2228 Reiser Ave. SE, New Philadelphia.
CObra is a structured and safe program that prepares students to deal with real-world threats. It combines the psychological element of self-defense with physical techniques taught using realistic scenarios. The class will be taught by Lauren International health and safety manager Wayne Burley, a self-defense professional with 36 years of experience.
Participants will receive a Cobra manual with over 200 self-defense photos and information, a T-shirt and a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
