At ‘poll khol’, UP Cong exposes faulty policies of State, Centre

Continuing with its ‘poll khol’ campaign, the State unit of Congress held meetings at the block level across the State where they exposed the faulty policies of the Modi and Yogi Governments which had added to the woes of the people.

Senior Congress leader Vinod Sharma said that through its Gram Chaupal meeting the BJP is spreading a lie about the achievements of the both Modi and Yogi Government. “In these meetings the Congress has exposed BJP’s lies. We tell people how they have fleeced the common man,” Mishra said.

The party had announced to hold Poll Khol campaign from June 5 to 25 where the Congress leaders and law makers were asked to hold meetings at the block to highlight the failure of the BJP Governments and how people have suffered under the present regime.

“The Modi Government has not fulfilled any single promise made to the people during elections. The plight of farmers is on the rise. Unemployment has gone up following closing down of factories and small industrial units because of insensible decisions like demonetisation and unwise implementation of Good and Services Tax (GST),” Mishra said adding that international image of the Country has got a beating because of impractical policies of the Union Government.

He said that the response party is getting at the village level is immense.

People are suffering so they are aligning with the Congress.
