Federal government to provide $500,000 funding for driverless vehicle projects

On Monday, Amarjeet Sohi, Minister of Infrastructure and Communities, announced $500,000 in funding to the University of Alberta’s connected vehicle security credential management system. The funding will help address the technical, regulatory and policy issues that automated vehicle technologies present.
