Low-cost airliner IndiGo on Monday announced that chief commercial officer Sanjay Kumar had stepped down. This is the second high profile exit after its president Aditya Ghosh resigned in April.
William Boulter, chief strategy officer, will replace Mr. Kumar, the airline said. Mr. Kumar had spent almost 11 years at IndiGo.
According to the airline’s website, Mr. Kumar had more than 20 years of experience in the aviation sector, including stints at Sahara Airlines and SpiceJet. The exits come at a time when IndiGo planned to expand its international operations.
