The NFL will reportedly hear Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman's appeal today of his four-game suspension for testing positive for performance-enhancing substances, according to ESPN.

"I am very sorry — I don't know what happened," the 32-year-old Edelman wrote on Instagram earlier this month. "I've taken many, many tests obviously over the course of my career, and nothing like this has ever happened."

As it stands now, Edelman would miss the team's first four regular-season games against the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphins. He missed all of last season after tearing his ACL in a preseason game.
