Wilmington police investigating late-night homicide

Wilmington police are investigating a homicide that occurred late Sunday night. 

Police said a ShotSpotter notification came in around 11:40 p.m. for the 700 block of Broom Street. Officers found a victim on the corner of 8th and Broom streets.

New Castle County Paramedics pronounced the shooting victim dead.
