The A.P. Water Resources Department has won the prestigious Skoch Platinum Award for its work in irrigation sector. Besides, eight of the projects showcased by them won three platinum awards and five gold awards. Officer on Special Duty (OSD) A Varaprasada Rao said the State was given the National Significance Platinum Award for its excellent work in the irrigation sector.
