CHANDIGARH:
Haryanvi dancer Sapna Chaudhary visited UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi’s office in New Delhi on Friday.
She is learned to have met the office in charge of Gandhi’s office, as the party leader was not there.
Contrary to speculation that she might join the Congress, Chaudhary, while interacting with media in New Delhi, said she liked the Congress and
Sonia Gandhi.
She, however, ruled out joining the party. Sources informed that Chaudhary showed keenness to work for the Congress during elections.
Chaudhary, who had hit the headlines by singing a controversial song with castiest remarks, has a huge following in
Haryana, Rajsthan and western
Uttar Pradesh.
