A man is dead after being hit by a truck on 71st Street near Riverside Drive.

Tulsa police say it happened around 11:00 p.m. Saturday night.

They say a man was crossing 71st Street when he was hit by a truck heading west.  The truck left the scene.

Officers say the man, who has not been identified, later died of his injuries.

Police are investigating.
