Ann Hodkinson and David James Huggins wed

Ann Hodkinson and David James Huggins were married Dec. 20, 2017, in Newport in the Chapel of The Sea by Father McDonough.

Best men were David’s son, Benjamin Isaac Huggins and brother, Jeffrey Huggins.

The bride is the daughter of Mary T. Mitchell and Charles J. Hodkinson, of Fall River. She is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst and attended Harvard University for graduate work and medical school at Trinity College. She is currently finishing a double Masters of Science degree in Florida and is the author of many children's books including, "A Christmas Miracle" and has had over 40 poems published in Poet Magazine and various anthologies.

The groom is the son of Elizabeth Ann Lehtinen Huggins and Earl James Huggins, of Ashtabula, Ohio. He is employed by UPC Insurance, St. Petersburg, Florida and is the owner of Hand Eye Interactive, Full Duplex Communications, For the Kids Foundation, Bright Mind Solutions and is a robotics coach at Jesuit High School in Tampa Florida. He attended Brandon High School, graduating in1975 and attended college in Arizona and California.

Ann and David honeymooned in New England. Their future residence will be Valrico, Florida but they have also made Fall River their home.
