Man Utd transfer news: Ed Woodward and Jose Mourinho hold Gareth Bale discussions
MANCHESTER UNITED are desperate to sign Real Madrid star Gareth Bale this summer.

The Wales international has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent months.
Bale, 28, was targeted by United last summer, however, the attacker opted to stay in La Liga and snub a Premier League return.
The former Tottenham talisman put United on red alert after the Champions League final, with Bale revealing he’s considering his future at Real after struggling to get regular game time.
And according to the Manchester Evening News, United had already discussed a summer move for Bale before he spoke out after Real’s Champions League triumph against Liverpool last month.

They add that United executive vice chairman Ed Woodward dreams of bringing Bale to Old Trafford.
Jose Mourinho is also a huge admirer of Bale, with the Special One publicly hailing the winger last summer.
United have been busy in the summer transfer window, with Mourinho completing two deals.
The Red Devils have signed Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred and Porto right-back Diogo Dalot.
Mourinho is keen to spend big this summer after watching Manchester City storm to the Premier League title this season.
