Temperatures
Minimum temperatures are expected to be cool across the country, while cold conditions are expected over the central interior.
The coldest places will be Bleomfontein in the Free State and Vryburg in the North West, dropping to a below freezing -1°C and -2°C respectively.
Maximum temperatures are expected to be mild over the central interior and the northern border, while parts of the Western and Southern Cape will experience cold weather conditions.
Several places across the country will experience maximum temperatures in the low to mid 20s.
Pretoria is expected to experience a maximum of 21°C, while Johannesburg is expected to reach 20°C and Bloemfontein is expected to experience a high of 21°C.
Along the coastal regions, Cape Town will reach a high of 17°C, while Port Elizabeth will reach a maximum of 20°C. A high of 23°C is expected for Durban.
