England fans erupt after 6-1 win to Panama securing place in next round of World Cup
ENGLAND fans at home and in Russia have erupted in jubilation thanks to a six-goal win at their match against Panama, as the Three Lions claimed their biggest ever win at a World Cup match.
The England football team got off to a shining start in Russia on June 18 when they fought Tunisia for a 2-1 victory in Volgograd.
But England's 6-1 victory over Panama today sent England fans ino overdrive as they saw their heroes blister through their group match.
After a shaky few opening minites in front of a largely Panama-supporting stadium, Stones impressively headed in the Three Lion's opening goal in the eighth minute of the first half.
But Harry Kane fired England further into the lead after just 22 minutes of play, after England won a penalty.
The England captain and striker casually fired in a penalty for England after Lingard received a foul in the box from Panama player Escobar in the twentieth minute.

And after Escobar wrestled Harry Kane to the ground, the England skipper got his revenge after planting a penalty kick in the top corner just before half time.
In the 63rd minute, Loftus-Cheek’s long-range shot hit Kane and completely wrongfooted Penedo. VAR checked for offside but he was played onside by the heel of Torres.
The goal was striker Kane's third of the game and the 6th for the team. Kane is now the first England striker to score a hat trick in a World Cup match since Gary Lineker did so in 1986 against Poland.
