Harman rallies into lead at Travelers
CROMWELL, Conn. — Brian Harman shot a 4-under 66 on Friday to move to 10-under par and then watched that hold up for the second-round lead in the Travelers Championship.

Athletics: Noah Lyles, 20, won a thrilling 100-meter final at the USATF Outdoor national championships, becoming the youngest title-holder in the event in 34 years. Lyles finished in a world-leading 9.88 seconds. LSU's Aleia Hobbs won the women's 100 to become the first college winner since 1991. Zack Ziemek won the decathlon with a stadium-record 8,294 points. Donald Scott won the triple jump.
College basketball: During a nearly six-hour interview with NCAA investigators and UConn attorneys, former associate head coach Glen Miller made numerous allegations regarding his former boss, Kevin Ollie. By far the most serious of those unconfirmed allegations was a story Miller got from his wife about a $30,000 cash payment Ollie allegedly made to an unnamed player's mother.
NFL: Bills Hall of Fame quarterback Jim Kelly was released from a hospital a day after having surgery to prepare for permanent dentures to be inserted into his reconstructed upper jaw. Kelly has been unable to eat solid foods since March, when he had surgery to have cancer removed from his jaw after tests revealed a recurrence. ... The Patriots signed 23rd overall pick Isaiah Wynn, an offensive lineman from Georgia.
Tennis: Novak Djokovic became the 10th man to register 800 victories since the Open Era began in 1968 when he beat Adrian Mannarino 7-5 6-1 to reach the Queen's Club semis.
