It came back at 8am. Fortunately, the weather was pleasant so we could go back to sleep. But in the morning too power had gone for some time.”
Meteorologists claimed that rain bearing clouds are heading towards the North
Konkan region, Mumbai and Thane. This will lead to high intensity rainfall tillWednesday.
Mahesh Palawat, chief meteorologist at Skymet weather, said, “It has been predicted that the rains will be heavy over the weekend and will continue till Wednesday. After that, the city will receive moderate rainfall.”
Even the RDMC is well equipped with their machinery and rescue teams in case of a disaster. The team has also displayed important contact numbers of ward officials on thanecity.gov.in. Residents can reach out to them in case of a problem.
