Community report

For more than 40 years, photographer Janet Macoska has snapped rock’n’roll royalty when they come to Cleveland.

She’s photographed Beatles, Beach Boys, Bono, Bruce Springsteen and more. Her work can be found in the Smithsonian, Grammy Museum, National Portrait Gallery and Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame.

Now she’s coming to Mentor Public Library. Macoska is hosting a special multimedia presentation at 6:30 p.m., July 10, at the Main Branch, 8215 Mentor Ave. in Mentor. She’ll present rare images from her archives — combining iconic imagery with entertaining, behind-the-scenes stories.

Her book,”All Access Cleveland,” will also be available for sale. “All Access” compiles 340 of her favorite photos from more than 40 years in rock ‘n’roll photography.

Macoska’s talk is free and open to all. The library only asks that people RSVP by signing up at www.mentorpl.org or 440-255-8811, ext. 247.
