CEE to have China’s first visa center in Bucharest

The first visa application service center has been launched in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) by China in order to provide better service to Romanian applicants who want to visit China.

 

 

Minister Counsellor Tu Jiang, charge d’affaires a.i. of the Chinese Embassy in Romania, while addressing the inauguration ceremony mentioned that the establishment of the center was a important step taken by the Chinese facilitating the visit of Romanian Citizens in China.

 

 

 

The new centre is expected to promote the development of bilateral relations and this will be in line with the growing trend of increasing personnel exchange taking place between the two countries.

 

 

 

Zhang Lingjie, vice president of China International Travel Service Head Office (CITS) while attending the opening ceremony in Bucharest being the operator of the visa center, CITS will help in the facilitation of exchanges between the two countries and help in the development of the bilateral ties. So far China has 66 visa centers overseas of which 21 are in Europe along with the newly opened one in Bucharest.
