RANCHI: The
Jharkhand high court on Friday extended the provisional bail period of RJD chief Lalu Prasad
Yadav till July 3.
The 71-year-old politician, who was handed jail terms and financial penalties by special CBI courts in Ranchi in different fodder scam cases earlier this year, was on a provisional bail since May 16 for his chronic cardiac and kidney problems.
The court had granted him a six-week bail and asked him to submit a report within the period.
