North Shore RescueA 75-year-old man who got lost on the North Shore has been found safe after a search by RCMP and North Shore Rescue (NSR).
NSR team leader Mike Danks said John McCandless was at the Ron Andrews Rec Centre on Thursday, when he decided to walk to his home on Old Dollarton Road.

Danks said he ended up leaving the path and becoming trapped in a gully.
McCandles spent the night in the brush, and RCMP say he’s now in stable condition and has been taken to hospital to ensure he’s OK.
