I-5 southbound will be closed at Fremont Bridge on Saturday night

PORTLAND, Ore. – Interstate 5 southbound will be closed at the Fremont Bridge in Portland beginning at 10 p.m. Saturday.

The Oregon Department of Transportation will be making repairs overnight. The closure may last until 5 a.m. Sunday.

Drivers can detour using Interstate 405 southbound, which rejoins I-5 just past the Marquam Bridge.
