KADAPA: TDP MP JC Diwakar Reddy has made sensational remarks that the fast-unto-death being observed by TDP MP CM Ramesh to achieve Integrated Steel Plant in Kadapa district will not materialise. “Can you (Ramesh) achieve steel plant with the deeksha. We cannot get either steel (ukku) or scrap (tukku). Even if you achieve martyrdom like Amarajeevi Potti Sriramulu, nothing will happen as long as Narendra Modi remains Prime Minister,’’ he said.

“Even if we repeat the agitation like that of ‘Visakha Ukku Andhrula Hakku’ for achieving steel plant in Visakhapatnam long back, we cannot achieve steel plant in Kadapa as the BJP government is not in a position to heed the people’s aspirations,” he observed.Reddy along with other TDP MPs visited the fast camp of Ramesh on Friday and expressed solidarity with him for his agitation for steel factory.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that he did not come to the fast camp to appreciate the fasting MP and came to ask him why he was observing fast-unto-death as that would not yield any result.Diwakar Reddy cited that despite five crore people of the State opposed the bifurcation of combined AP, the then Central government divided the State which reflected its adamant and indifferent attitude, he slammed. He claimed that he had told Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu that Narendra Modi would not do anything for the benefit of AP and Naidu now understood his prediction.

Don’t speak in a discouraging way: Minister
Diwakar Reddy comments shocked all TDP leaders at the fast camp in Kadapa. Addressing the gathering, Minister C Adinarayana Reddy said it is not fair on the part of the MP to speak in a discouraging way, the Minister said.
