Liverpool transfer news: Alisson makes final decision amid Real Madrid interest

They add that Liverpool never made a bid for the Roma stopper this summer, with the Reds telling Alisson’s agent they would not be making an offer.

Reports in Italy today claimed that Alisson’s representatives will hold talks with Roma over a potential move to the Bernabeu.

Real are keen to land a new goalkeeper this summer, with club president Florentino Perez desperate to replace Keylor Navas.

Manchester United stopper David De Gea and Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois have both been linked with a move to the Bernabeu in recent months.

However, it seems that Alisson is the chosen one to replace Navas at Real this summer.

Liverpool will now turn their attention elsewhere following Alisson’s decision to head to La Liga.

The Reds have been tipped to move for Stoke stopper Jack Butland in the coming weeks.
