The Legislative Assembly is likely to be reconvened on the first week of July for the presentation of the budget for fiscal 2018-19. “The House is likely to be re-convened on July 2 after a group of Ministers and legislators return from a trip abroad,” a source said.
Nod for budget
With the MHA giving its nod for the budget, the Finance Department had started preparation for presenting the budget early next month, said a government source. The House was adjourned sine die on June 5 amid uncertainty over approval from the Union Home Ministry for the annual budget.
