Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and National Defence Fund(NDF)

All donations towards the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund(PMNRF) and the National Defence Fund(NDF) are notified for 100% deduction from taxable income under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act,1961

In Manipur, a huge cache of contraband drugs worth seven crore rupees were seized by the Assam Rifles from a Jungle track in Tengnoupal district yesterday.

Acting on specific information, a team of Tengnoupal Battalion launched an operation in which two bags were recovered from a person containing around 7 kg of contrabands tablet and 690 grams of Brown Sugar. The man however manged to flee.

During the last few months, contraband drugs worth nearly 50 crore rupees have been seized by the security forces.
