Vadodara: A man working as the caretaker of a bungalow on New Sevasi Road has been booked for murdering his girlfriend. Hitesh Chauhan, who stays in servant quarters of Bungalow no. 9 in Grass Field Society, has been absconding after committing the crime, the police said.
According to police, Chauhan was in relationship with one Navina Vasava who worked as a caretaker in Bungalow no. 4 of the same society. On Thursday night, Chauhan went to meet Vasava and the duo had heated arguments. The police said that Chauhan then attacked her with a sharp weapon. Vasava succumbed to the wounds received on her chest and stomach.
“We are looking for Chauhan. Once he is caught, we will know the reason behind the murder,” said P K Chawda, Laxmipura police inspector.
