NEW DELHI: A dismembered body of female was found inside a bag near Jamia area, Haji Colony Nagar here, police said on Friday.
According to police, the hands and limbs of the female were found dismembered, and soon the crime teams were rushed to the spot for investigation.
On Thursday, police was informed that two unidentified bags were lying at roadside vacant plot near Haji Colony Jamia area.
On inspection, it was found that there was a dismembered body of a woman inside it.
The body has been sent to the mortuary and a case under section 302/201 IPC was registered.
Further investigation was underway in the matter by the teams of Police Station Sarita Vihar under supervision of an ACP, police said.
