GURUGRAM: Three directors and one manager of a Gurugram-based company were booked on Thursday for
cheating and
fraud after the
owner of the Sector 44 Indian Oil
petrol pump moved
police against them for allegedly failing to clear dues.
Mohan Singh,
son of the petrol pump owner, has lodged a
complaint, saying that the manager of Universal Facility Management Company made a deal with them on November 2017. As per the deal, an employee of the company would get diesel from the petrol pump and the company would make payment through cheques every 24th day. “The firm got fuel from us till January 17 and never made any payments,” said Singh, adding that it owed them Rs 28.50 lakh.
TOI tried to contact the company, but there was no response despite several attempts. After January, the petrol pump owner stopped the supply of diesel and started approaching the company for pending dues.
“Initially, they assured us that the dues would be settled but later denied having made any deal,” said Singh.
An
FIR under section 406 (criminal breach of trust) and 420 (cheating) of IPC was registered at the Sushant Lok police station.
