Thief paid waitress with her own credit card

A suspected thief has been arrested after attempting to pay for a meal using a credit card stolen from the waitress who served him. When police arrived, the suspect was reportedly found in possession of the woman’s drivering licence and other personal items.

Man charged after attempting sex with car

A Kansas man has been charged with lewd and lascivious behaviour after he was caught by police trying to have sex with the exhaust pipe of a car. The 23-year-old initially ignored police when they arrived. He was transported to hospital, where he was found to be extremely drunk.

Rat eats £13,000 in cash

Indian bank technicians called to service a broken ATM found the problem was caused by a rat that had broken into the device and chewed through more than £13,000 in cash, before dying. In a statement, the bank said it would increase security at its ATMs to avoid a repeat of the incident.
