GREATER NOIDA: A
stalker repeatedly stabbed a 20-year-old saleswoman at a shopping complex here on Friday morning after she declined his marriage proposal. The victim lay bleeding in public view for 15 minutes before police took her to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The attacker also stabbed himself several times in the abdomen minutes after he had stabbed the victim, Khushboo Kumari. He is battling critical injuries at a Greater Noida hospital.
Khushboo worked as a cosmetic company representative at Buggon Hypermarket, on the ground floor of A K Plaza. She was also a BA student at a government college in Dadri. The accused, Kuldeep, 25, had been harassing Khushboo for the past few months despite several complaints to his family, the victim's mother said.
