We're getting a new addition to the royal family in The Crown's third season. Erin Doherty has been cast to play an older Princess Anne, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Princess Anne is the only daughter of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip, who we've so far only seen as a child. Season 3 will experience a sizable time jump, aging Princess Anne out of childhood and into adulthood. Not much is known yet about her role in Season 3, but one can only hope The Crown plans to include the story of Princess Anne's failed kidnapping and her iconic, "Not bloody likely!" response to her kidnapper.

Other new additions to the cast for Season 3 include Olivia Colman as the new Queen Elizabeth, Tobias Menzies as Princes Philip and Helena Bonham Carter as Princess Margaret. Jason Watkins and Ben Daniels have also been cast to play Harold Wilson and Anthony Armstrong-Jones respectively.

The Crown Season 2 is now streaming on Netflix.
