HPKVN to train 3180 youth to enhance their skills

He impressed upon HPKVN and TSPs to take up the job roles suited to Himachali Youth with genuine placement potential within the State. He also suggested setting in place a robust mobilization strategy with the support of HPKVN District Coordinators, and forging linkages with industry to assess the demand of skilled manpower for sustainable placement opportunities for certified youth. He also assured to strengthen HPKVN district teams for support to the TSPs and quality audits of training program.
Managing Director HPKVN Rohan Chand Thakur while welcoming on the occasion briefed about the activities undertaken by HPKVN in the State. He said that Nigam was all set to enhance the skills of youth so that they could get employment in various industrial houses and self employment as well.
All the issues pertaining to skill development value chain starting mobilization, training and placement were also discussed in the meeting.
